The palazzo that houses has ancient origins. The building dates from the year 1000. It was renovated in the 16th Century, and turned into a hotel in the 1950's, and the hotel reflects the spirit of an aristocratic Venetian residence. The Hotel Scandinavia has 33 large, airy rooms. All the rooms are carefully decorated with period furniture and sumptuous Murano glass lamps and have every type of comfort such as TV, mini-bar, direct-line telephone and air conditioning.
